The goal of the company is development of employees which is achieved due to trainings and additional courses and educations. Realization of advancement is common among Emirates employees and anybody can use the opportunity to grow. Career advancement opportunities depend on the position within the airline and the duration spent working on that particular position. For example, members of cabin crew all start their careers by working in the economy class.
It is necessary to work in economy for minimum of three years before the possibility for advancement. After three years, member of economy class cabin crew can earn a promotion to business class crew. The promotion is based on assessment of the employee’s performance. Crew can further advance their career to first class crew, cabin supervisor, flight purser and eventually cabin crew manager.
