Initial assistance which is first aid, should be given to a victim of injury or illness. There are many ways to know how to do first aid. These can be learned in smartphones, tablet, iPad, laptop and any other gadgets.

Mostly everything that is used today to teach and learn has been a result of technology. All materials, including the Internet, had some connection to the growing technology. According to Bernard (2017), with adaptive technology assisting every individual at different skill level, users are better to learn on their own.

Technology has affected the way things are presented and taught in every way and had a large impact on the materials that are used and the way we use these materials to teach a person. Games are important learning tools that provide interactive and creative spaces for users to learn and explore. It recognizes the proven power of digital games for learning and is committed to fostering the broader adoption of high quality games in informal learning settings. According to Teyssier (2016), Games’ notion is important for your learners.

This is the reason of why they will be motivated and interested in the training. Everybody likes to play and have fun, even more when you learn skills at the same time. Moreover, your learners will want to win in the training and have the best result they can. Users will learn first aid through technology. The proponents will make a game that will add to the user’s know-how and enjoy the game. Background of the Study At present, it is no longer necessary to learn first aid. It is the same as when an accident occurs and is not immediately provided for initial relief due to lack of knowledge. When an accident occurs, people will just look and pass by. It does not even teach children to learn about first aid. It often teaches when it is big enough or they will enroll to learn it.

First aid helps ensure the right methods of administering medical assistance. According to Eisenburger (2015), this should be part of basic health education. Developing the ability to save someone else’s life is the most relevant reason to learn first aid, and to encourage others to also learn first aid.

Although most people will rush forward to help in an emergency, a trained person will be much more confident and will know the right action. By knowing how to act – even just by employing simple techniques such as applying an ice pack correctly, or utilizing appropriate bandaging, you’ll help to relieve their discomfort. You’ll also provide emotional support by remaining calm and collected which will make them feel more secure and reduce their anxiety levels. In some situations if a patient doesn’t receive basic first aid care immediately their situation will deteriorate – often rapidly. By being able to provide basic care you can stabilize a patient until emergency medical services arrives.

You’ll learn how to use basic household items as tools if a first aid kit is not available meaning that you’ll be able to cope with many situations. To cater its users, the game has two modes – kids and adults. Questions will be based on scenarios about basic first aid for common injuries such as minor burns and minor cuts. These questions will be presented via game types namely puzzles, multiple choice and “drag and drop”. Similar rules apply for both modes, whereas there will be five items per game type. The user’s progress will be measured through the use of numerical scoring, which will be based on their answers – every wrong answer deducts points.

Once the user gets the correct answer, a window will appear giving a short explanation about that answer. There is a section for basic first aid alternatives, which is presented in plain text. The game won’t be requiring internet connection and can only work in android phones. Design will be presented via 2D illustration.
