Communicating a vision to the stakeholders is an important venture as stakeholders are determined to ensure that an organization achieves the set goals and objectives, which is the organization’s vision (Huber, 2017). Sharing an organization’s vision is important as it helps participation of other individuals and groups towards the achievement of the organization’s goals (Huber, 2017). Methods of communication to develop a shared vision with the stakeholders include knowing the stakeholders well and their dynamics, which will enable a better preparation, and understanding of the target audience (Huber, 2017). Communication should be done on the stakeholders based on their different dynamics, which will enable the stakeholders to understand the organization’s vision from their own perspectives (Huber, 2017). This can be done through private meetings with different stakeholders, which can involve oral explanations, and questions can be answered orally (Huber, 2017). A nurse leader can use evidence to convince and inform the stakeholders of the organization’s vision.

This should be provided clearly and briefly, not to give too much information that will not be beneficial to the stakeholders (Huber, 2017). The nurse leader can use publications, memos, websites, and letters to communicate with the stakeholders (Huber, 2017). Strategic Management Application A nurse leader can apply strategic management to make the outreach program visions to become reality by having a strategic plan, which will enable the organization to achieve its goals and objectives successfully and within a less time (Huber, 2017). Strategic planning enables an individual to plan on the resources required, time allocations, and the required results at a particular time (Huber, 2017). Strategic planning can be applied by categorizing the most important activities that will lead to the achievement of the goals and allocation of the necessary resources that will steer-wheel the activities to the desired vision.

Unnecessary activities can also be reviewed (Huber, 2017).
