Results and Discussion Based on the results of the answers of the teachers teaching subjects that should be taught in English from Mariveles National High School- Cabcanen Annex 2 Batangas II., the following data were gathered and analyzed. Problem 1: What is the general attitude of English teachers toward Philippine English? The first part of the questionnaire shows the attitude of the teachers regarding the positive statements about Philippine English. Table 1. According to (Cheyne, 1970) stereotypes varied with the relationships between the nationality of the judge and the perceived nationality of the speaker. They believe that even though there are differences with pronunciation, we can still communicate properly at it is up to the receiver to perceive what has been said. Table 2. They agree that words from our own culture should be used to help the development of Philippine English. Just like what Riley said on his book, the principal area of investigation was commonsense knowledge, what everybody knows in a given group or society. (Riley, 2007) It is important to use words that is known in the community to aid in the development of Philippine English. Just like what Kachru mentioned in his book, we now have both satisfactory and not-so-satisfactory case studies of what has been termed the nativization of English, and the englishization of other world languages. It means that although there are different perceptions about the acceptance of world Englishes, the teachers of MNHS-Batangas II clearly accepts the notion. ( Kingsley Bolton and Braj B. According to Kachru, the linguistic and cultural effects of colonization are part of histories. We acquired English from the Americans who colonized us after the Japanese. As a result of that, English has acquired an important status in the language policies of most of such multilingual nations. ( Kingsley Bolton and Braj B.
Kachru, 2006) In order to make everyone understand the language that they need to learn, somehow we need to adapt it to their culture and traditions. Table 5. According to McKaughn in the book of tayao, Philippine English has emerged as an autonomous variety of English with its own self-contained system. In addition to that, people can only relate to the news presented to them or an form of writing if the language used is familiar to them. Table 6.

News media offer the classic case of language produced by multiple parties. Media audiences are large and multilayered, ranging from the interviewer whom a newsmaker addresses face to face, to the absentee mass audience, which itself consists of different segments.

We can infer that the teachers accept Philippine English as a variety of the English language.
Tables 8-13 shows the answer of the respondents about the negative statements about Philippine English. It can clearly be seen that they accept Philippine English as a variety of English is a natural thing. The Philippines is a nation that has been colonized by different nations and it greatly affected our culture and traditions as well as our language.
It is a combination of various learning from various countries. From the book of Bautista, it sates there that Filipinos learned English from Filipinos and the seeds of what we now call Philippine English began. Philippine English began to develop as a variety of English in its own rights, associated with a distinct accent, a localized vocabulary and even a body of creative writing. (MA. Lourdes S.
