Both Holthausen (2014) and Demetrius (2013) criticize the ways they are the power as they emerge in organizational communication and advocate for systemic changing the norms that govern organizational PR. Ideally, activists and organizations would work together, working to improve the society. Their thinking calls for a redirection of public relations theory that has, since its inception, used and changed countless tools and channels for the purpose of communication. Citizens, social media and freedom of speech

In the last two decades, social media users have recognized the opportunities of the Internet and social media and with their use they have received support, informed about their activities, carried out various propaganda of their personal or common interest, raised awareness, mobilized volunteers and succeeded in reach out to the wider public, using the undeniable power of social media everyone in their business, scope, personal life, entertainment, culture or any sphere of human existence. Simply put, the rise of social media has led to freedom of speech. But sometimes this freedom knows how to abuse and grow into hate speech. We have had such cases many times when various groups have called for religious, racial, political and other forms of hatred.

We all realize through these new media that we are not alone, that what we are bombarded with by traditional media is not the only truth. But what we have as a position is that new media are used as an alibi, not as a real tool, as a real factor of everything. Didn’t the internet free everyone, enslaved us on social networks, or became our daily habit, where we all love, love, build relationships, hate, criticize, praise, cry, spit, and what not. As awesome as social media is in certain segments, however, the time of slavery of digital communication has just begun. Where the end will be, or the BUM development will be known for generations to come.

Social networks are also ‘contagious’, taking us away, moving us away, and making us live in a virtual world. We all carry our social media profiles with us. Everywhere. Always. They are part of our ‘smart phones’, they are the first thing we see on our browsers. Man is a being created to communicate. We can only survive by connecting with others, and so social media has been an unprecedented catalyst for human communication so far, and has always been and will remain an important, inextricable part of everyday life. But social networks are also used when we want to send a convincing message. We often do this for different reasons: economic, political, national, religious or otherwise Persuasion – is defined as a method used to influence habits, raise awareness, educate or influence behavior . But social networks have also helped change policies around the world. Young protesters around the world are using all means to make their voices heard, to force governments to rethink their way of governing, to rebel against the growing social divide between rich and poor, and the new media has helped them a lot.

Social media is the best stabilizer and communicator. They give a voice and a platform to communicate to anyone who wants to be a part of them. Social media is fundamentally changing the way we communicate. They are one huge balloon that is constantly growing. If we got the balloon symbol, should it burst ?! The answer to this cannot be given to us, this electronic revolutionary generation. We just know that social media has not changed, it has not liberated us, it has liberated speech. Even when it is hate speech (which is not probable) it has a certain meaning that should be prevented or cured. Most important to us is that we are currently flying in that huge inflated balloon, we have wings, we have endless communication horizons … we have every medium we use for both bad and bad.
