Vegans do not consume any of the products made by the killing and torturing of animals. Veganism prevents exploitation of animals. Ninety-eight percent of all animals are killed by the meat, egg and cheese industry. Eating animal byproducts is immoral, unhealthy, and horrible for the environment. Not a single human being is born a carnivore, it is not natural to eat animals.

Children learn to eat meat from outside influences, which most likely are their parents because they were also taught that way. Animals are not excluded from having feelings. Don’t you notice when your dog is content or hurt? Well, chickens, cows, and pigs also have the ability to feel scared or harmed. Confinement of animals results in injuries, disease, immobilization, boredom, and often death. Goods or alleged goods that result from animal farming and slaughter are inadequate to justify the cruelty that animals go through. Research has linked vegan diets with lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and lower rates of heart desease, type two diabetes and some types of cancer.

Well planned vegan diets contain every nutrient that our bodies need and allows you to include healthier options like whole grains, fruits, nuts, seeds, and vegetables, which are packed with beneficial fibre, vitamins, and minerals. Avoiding all animal products can significantly lower your carbon footprint. Crops and water required to feed the animals and transportation from farm to fork both place a heavy burden on the environment. This trend will continue to contribute to global warming, pollution, land degradation, water scarcity, and species extinction.

Yes, cow milk is delicious with lots of calcium and their meat is a great source of high-quality protein and essential nutrients but does it really cancel out the fact that poor enslaved animals are being tortured every day? Humans have been eating beef since prehistoric times but we can change that, we can better our moral understanding, our health, and the environment by turning vegan and saying no to animal product
