What is bullying? Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behaviour among school aged children that involved that involves a real or perceived power imbalance.

The behavior is repeated, or has potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems. Bullying can have a wide spectrum of effects on a student inluding anger, depression, stress and suicide. Additionally, the bully can develop different social disorders or have a higher chance of engaging in criminal activity. Bullying can cause long-term problems for both the victims of bullying and the bullies themselves. There three effects of bullying in school is kids who are bullied, kids who bully others and bystanders.

The first effects of bullying in school is kids who are been bullied. Kids who are bullied can experience negative physical and mental issues. Kids who have been bullied more likely to experience depresion and anxiety. This can increased their feelings of sadness and loneliness, changes in sleep and eating patterns, and loss of ineterest in activities they used to enjoy.

These issues may presist into adulthood. Another reason is the kids who have been bullied may deacreased academic achievement because they’re more likely afraid of their bullies and thinks about those bullies might distrub their studies. To prevent from been bullied, they more likely to miss, skip or drop out of school. “The problem with the repeated occurrence requirement is that waiting peroid heightenss the negative effects on the the victim, allows the bully to feel rewared, increases fear in onlookers and make intervention a more lenghty process” Ross (2002, p, 106). The second effects of bullying in school is kids who bullied others. Kids who bullied others can also engange in violent and other risky behaviour into adulthood.

Kids who bully others more likely to abuse alcohol and other drugs in adolescene and as a adults, get into a fight, vandalize property and drop out of school. The bullies might have criminal convictions and traffic citations as their want to show that their were cool by doing that. According to (Harris,Petrie ; Willouughby, 2004, p.4) “teasing and taunting, racial, ethnic and sexual slurs or harassment, threatening, hitting and stealing” is their behaviours. Why the bullies is always bulliy others is may causes of their parents is lack of educates their child and lack of attention to their child. They might have a problems with studies, so they bullies others to get an answer or they bully other students to do their homeworks. (Harris, Petrie ; Willoughby, 2006, p.55) quote a study indicating that “86% of junior high students indicated that they have been bullied”.

According to this statement the bully is from the upper student so that the junior student is afraid of. The last effects of bullying in school is bystanders. Kids who witness bullying activity is more likely to to join the bullies. The bystanders are most likely to icreased use of tobacco, alcohol or other drugs. The other things they like to do is miss or skip school to go hang out with their friends.

They do it because they feels like they cool and they thinks they are popular. Another problems of the bystanders is they can increased mental health problems, including depression and anxiety. Some of the bystanders will follow the bullies personality and some of them will pity to the victims of the bully and helps the victims. However the bystanders who helped the victims are less each time because they are to afraid that the bully can bully them too. Both the victim and the bully perceive the bystanders to be on the side of the bully whether they are or not.

By eliminating the bystander, bullies are less likely to attack a victim and victims will not feel outnambered and unsupported. The conclusion is bullying in school is not good for a any students in all around the world. The three effects of bullying in school which is kids who are been bully, the kids who bullies others and bystanders. They are many way to prevent the bully activity in school, example parents need to give more attention to their child. Parents need to spend their time together as a family so that the child will feel loves and happy.

Another prevention of this problems, schools need to play an important role which is the teacher. The teachers need to educated their student with disipline and gives the student feels happy to come to school for studies and meet their friends. Teachers can also encourage their students to join a sports so the students can show their talents and avoid the bullying happends. I hope this problems will not happends so in the future the new generation students can learn with peace and happy to come to school.
