Electromagnetism is considered to be the glue of the universe by the most powerful minds in it. Electromagnetism is so central to our everyday lives that we simply overlook its importance. We would probably know about electromagnetism on an instrument level but we don’t stress its importance biologically. The cells in our bodies are constructed by molecules, molecules are made up of charged particles who are held together by attractive magnetic forces that are the basis of our existence.
These magnetic forces have a long history being the subject of many forms of research by many scholars too much to mention. However we will be focusing on one particular researcher Michael Faraday whose contribution to the scientific research pool has given us one of the most valuable phenomena ‘Electromagnetic Induction’. His research has saw the use of electromagnetism in all fields of life; Medical, Technological and Industrial Sectors. Some of the technologies that are centered on his discovery would be showcased within.
