Encoding: It is the process of assembling the message (information, ideas and thoughts) into a representative design with the objective of ensuring that the receiver can comprehend it.
During the time of decoding, one should always know that the message may involve the use of symbols, gesture which is majorly used by the deaf community or words to present a concept. At some point in schools and in different subjects like physical and biological sciences, symbols are majorly used to communicate or pass a message. When the sender decides to use symbols, then he/she should ensure that the symbols used are meaningful and understandable to the recipient. During the time or period of encoding the message, the sender will have to decide on what he wants to transmit and basically it is always based on what the sender believes about the receiver’s knowledge and assumption along with the additional information the sender wants the receiver to know or have.
