The experience of transformation is a common feature in the lives of believers (Henriksen, 2017). Most religious experiences are transformative in nature as most of these experiences are personal and affect the lives of believers, their thoughts, and their knowledge about God (Henriksen, 2017). God intentions are that believers are transformed into the body of Christ and his glory (Ephesians 4:6, King James Version). Every believer has an experience of transformation of some degree after he/she has been saved (Henriksen, 2017). This transformation comes because of Christ in the hearts of Believers working to mold them into his image (Ephesians 4:20-24).
Believers experience a change in their lives from their old life after accepting Christ (Geisler, 2013). God is a spirit and transforms the spirits of believers to his glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). The experience of transformation of believers gives them the confidence of a supernatural force working in them and the evidence of God who they believe in is changing them. The Bible, which is the word of God, supports this transformation process in the lives of believers and these changes occur after one has been born again an indication of Christ working in the lives of believers (Geisler, 2013). The Experience of Transformation Is Evidence for the Reality of God The behaviors and reasoning of new believers is evidence of a transformation of their lives (Henriksen, 2017). These changes are not only physical but also changes in thought and reasoning (Henriksen, 2017).
These changes are because of the changes in the spirit of a believer, which are indicated in the Bible, which is God’s word and evidence of the existence of God. The increase in the number of believers is attributed to the experienced transformations evident through the believers with the help of a higher being (Henriksen, 2017). Religion has the highest number of followers across the globe and continues to increase based on their transformation experiences. This action is evidence of the existence of God (Henriksen, 2017).
