Your traveling partner is typically chosen based on their position and final stop. To make the job easier for the drivers, the Uber technology decides who to pick up the first, and who drop last. Rather being picked up exactly at your position and dropped off at your destination, Express POOL rides expect the customer to take a short walk to be picked up and a short walk to reach their destination.
