Target has been a very successful company for several years. However, it has now come under pressure due to the increase of online retailers. Target is already knowing for its high quality and low-cost product .The board of directors isn’t sure one what necessary steps the target should take to stay ahead of the game in such a competitive market. I will prepare a detailed report that describes the best way for Target to be able to compete with online retailers. The future for this company lies on its ability to connect with its consumers while keeping making a profit.
The purpose of the report will be to determine and analyze the do’s and don’ts of competing with online retailers. I will thoroughly research the topic and make well-supported recommendations in regards on how Target can compete against online retail in this current economic condition. The report will first examine other companies such as Walmart & Costco to learn what the competitors are doing and later on focusing on whats best first for Target. The scope of research will cover and explain the major pitfalls Target. faces against online retailers. Sources and Method of Data Collection: My data will come from articles from the San Jose State University King Library databases, information from online press statements, and my primary source will be Target’s financial reports.
The CEO of Target. has stated that according to Thereby, Target is considering To make a decision, the CEO and the board of directors will be reviewing an analysis report on the issue. My report will be prepared for the CEO and the board of directors of Target. This report will provide the directors with unprejudiced recommendations in regard to Targets.
